Thanks to the unique operation and geometry of the toggle, the DuoTec, as a gravity plug, can take exceptionally high loads. In applications with multiple fastening points, this allows the number of fasteners required to be reduced while maximising safety. As part of the DUO line, the DuoTec consists of two plastic components: the red, hard part of the plug sleeve ensures even load distribution. The grey, soft part prevents damage to the plate surface by the attachment and thus reduces the point load. The DuoTec is installed as a gravity plug in sheet material, but is also suitable as a spreading plug in solid building materials.
